Efforts to combine Naviswiss’ accurate and easy to use navigation system with Corin’s proven OPS planning system will support orthopedic surgeons from 3-dimensional pre-operative planning all the way to digital intra-operative execution and documentation of the outcome.
OPSInsight is an intuitive cloud based planning platform that utilizes proprietary technology to analyze functional, patient-specific spinopelvic mobility and joint biomechanics to optimize component selection and orientation during preoperative planning.
The introduction of Naviswiss Hip Navigation will enable surgeons to accurately deliver the CT-based OPS plan with a straightforward workflow and real time feedback.
The Australian orthopedic market has traditionally been an early adopter for enabling technologies. 30% of knees and around 10% of the hips implanted are using navigation systems.
“Corin looks forward to refining the OPS based workflow with Naviswiss towards the end of 2022. The addition of this technology will strengthen the OPS offering and value to our customers” says Nathan Gainsford, Global Hip Technology & ANZ Marketing Director, Corin.
“Naviswiss has been present in Australia since 2018. The cooperation with Corin marks an important milestone and strengthens our position in the Australian market” says Jan Stifter, CEO Naviswiss.
